A little about me

I'm a wedding and family photographer based in Sidcup, working with couples and families all over London, Kent and the surrounding areas. My style is natural, relaxed and fun, and I work hard to make sure your photography experience feels that way from the very first message you send me.

Why do I do what I do?

Because I am passionate about working with people and helping each one of them to create memories. I want to leave you with photos you'll look back on with genuine joy. Not stiff, posed shots, but real moments that capture how things actually felt.

I absolutely love weddings. And I love family sessions. Every single one is different, and that's exactly what keeps me excited about what I do.

Why do I work for myself?

Because I don't want to miss out on stay-and-play sessions or sports days with my children. Working for myself means I get to choose when I work, and that works perfectly for my little people.

Why prints matter to me

I love looking at memories in photo albums, both old and new. There's something about holding a real photograph that a screen just can't replicate. This is why I capture today's memories the way I do, because I know they'll be cherished for years to come. It's also why I include prints in my packages. It's so important to have real photos you can frame and put up in your home.

Is your name actually Smiley?

No! My real name is Fatma. 😊

My photography friends would always comment on how smiley I was in photographs, and eventually it just stuck. I like it!

When it came to naming my business, I also wanted to hold onto something from my late father, so I kept Huseyin, my family name, within my branding. And that's how Smiley Huseyin Photography came about.
